New Resident Orientation
All new residents (owners and tenants) must have an orientation with the On-Site Manager prior to move-in unless arrangements have been made with the On-Site Manager in advance. Orientations should be schedule no more than 2 weeks prior to move-in to help retention of the informaiton. Orientations are typically available Monday - Thursday between 9:30 am - 5:30 pm and Fridays 9:30 - 3:30 pm based on availability. Unfortunately, weekend orientations are not available. The new resident orientation will answer most questions regarding policies and procedures for the building including utilities, cable and internet providers, pet regisration, fees, and building policie and procedures. We want to have a good working relationship with all of the residents, so a way to avoid potential problems is to make sure everyone is oriented to the Ballston 880 way.
When can I move in?
You can move in after you have your new resident orientation AND after you have confirmed a move-in date and time with the On-Site Manager IN ADVANCE. There are time restrictions, so please refer to the move-in move-out policy.
How do I switch my utilities?
You do not; I will switch the utilities. That is why it is important to meet with the On-Site Manager PRIOR to moving in? I will give you information about billing cycle and payment options at the new resident orientation.
What cable providers are available in the building?
You can select between Xfinity (Comcast) or Verizon. You can find specials on their respective websites. However, the rep for Xfinity is Monica Moran, and she can be reached at 703-789-7597. Please notify me (in advance) of the date of install or repair because they will need to have access to the cable room.
How much is the move in fee?
The move in fee is $500. The check must be made payable to Ballston 880. This is NOT refundable. There is no fee when you move out, but a security deposit is required.
